OO-M-340 Milling, Grinding, Drilling, And Slotting AttachmentThis specification covers an electric motor driven attachment for milling, grinding, drilling, slotting, boring, gear cutting, thread milling, and keyseating operations. The attachment is adaptable for mounting on a lathe, planer, or boring mill. This attachment may also be used as a portable self-contained unit suitable for bench mounting when provided with a feed table.

3.7.1 Cutters. Each attachment shall be furnished with one set of high speed cutters as specified in table III. In addition to those listed for size 1 units, one shell end mill (size 1-1/2 x 1-1/8 x 1/2 inch) shall be furnished. In addition to those listed for size 2 units, one shell end mill (size 2 x 1-3/8 x 3/4 inch) shall be furnished. Tolerance of cutters shall be in accordance with ASME B94.19.
