COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
HOLDER, PLANER AND SHAPER, ADJUSTABLE
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
1. SCOPE.
1.1 Scope. This description covers tool holders that are designed to hold and support cutter bits that are used on metal working planers and shapers.
1.2 Classification. The tool holders shall be of the sizes specified in table I. The size to be furnished shall be as specified (see 6.1). All tolerances of dimensional data shall be the same as the tolerances on the manufacturer’s part drawings.
