COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
TOOL HOLDER, SHAPER EXTENSION
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
1. SCOPE.
1.1 Scope. This description covers tool holders with shaper extension bar and holder of the standard, heavy duty, commercial type, which are used in a production environment.
1.2 Classification. Tool holders covered by this description shall be of the sizes specified in table I. The size to be furnished shall be as specified (see 6.1). Shaper extension bar sizes and bushing sizes for the shaper extension holder shall be of the sizes listed in tables II and III. The sizes to be furnished shall be as specified (see 6.1). The tolerances for all dimensional data shall be the manufacturer’s standard as specified on their part drawings.
